A few weekends ago I was invited to a Dallas “blogger brunch” at Savor in Klyde Warren Park by the super sweet Rhonda of The Skinny Arm blog. She puts together these Dallas blogger brunches on a monthly basis that allow all of us to get to know each other and gab about all things blogging over stuffed french toast and eggs benedict. It’s pretty awesome. If you live in Dallas and haven’t been to Savor, I highly recommend checking it out. It’s a beautiful, floor to ceiling glass window encased restaurant smack dab in the middle of Klyde Warren Park with views of downtown and the food truck lined park. I ordered “The Croque” and the soup of the day (corn bisque) per our waitress’ recommendation and loved it. The Croque is served with what looked like a pound of shaved ham, stout soaked gruyere, a fried egg, and mornay sauce, all on top of an open-faced croissant. I would recommend ordering that and have someone else order the Lemon Ricotta French Toast, then share so you can get the best of both worlds. 🙂
While Savor is a very nice restaurant in Dallas, I kept my outfit fairly casual in case I ended up walking around the park after (I hate feeling overdressed!). You may remember this muscle tee from my Target Style Collaboration and this skirt from my Summer Uniform in Spain post. While having my husband snap a few photos of my outfit, our dog Leo was staring out the window crying so I decided to let him out and include him in the shoot. 🙂 Isn’t he the cutest? I am definitely a proud puppy mama!
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
