As you can probably see from many of the outfits I share on this blog, I tend to stick to solid colored pieces. When it comes to my everyday wear, I really stick to solid basics so this floral bouquet covered midi dress is not the typical piece I would gravitate to while shopping. The halter neck and tied top are what really made me try it on but once it was on I fell in love with every inch of it! The flowy, midi-length skirt is so feminine and the cut cinches you in at the waist creating a flattering shape. It really is the perfect spring dress!
I wore this feminine, floral number to one of the rewardStyle conference parties last weekend. Joe Fresh hosted a garden party at The Eyeball where there were bench swings covered in fresh orchids and even edible flowers in our drinks (seriously so dreamy) so I don’t think this dress could have been any more perfect. My favorite part about this floral print halter dress is that while it does have a belly-baring cutout that can seem a little intimidating, you do not need a six-pack to wear this dress! I feel like that is a big misconception about cutouts. It obviously depends on the placement of the cutout but I encourage you to give this one a try. It shows just a sliver of your midsection and if you really did want to cover up completely you could probably pull the waist of the skirt up a little higher and pull some of the fabric down from the top, but I really think this floral print halter dress can work for any size!
I paired this dress with my favorite pair of heels right now and my go-to blue jean jacket. I’m wearing a silver choker and cuff from Zara in these photos but I actually wore a simple gold layered chain necklace to the party. By the way, if you haven’t bought these sunglasses yet, you should! They’re only $20 and I just love them.
