One of the top ten Pantone colors of the year this season was Classic Blue. I love this color because it always reminds me of the talavera pottery from Mexico that is so beautiful. It was only fitting that I took a trip to Highland Park Village to shoot this cobalt blue (pretty darn close to Classic Blue!), AND-B top next to the blue-tiled stairs. If you have not heard of AND-B yet, their designs are created for the woman who needs staples in her closet to take her “from meetings to martinis” AKA my kind of brand. I always struggle with shopping for “work clothes” and well, “non-work clothes” and the two rarely are the same. Today’s outfit pairs their “Hailey” top with white jeans for a casual look but I have already worn this top to work tucked in a skirt and another time with dress pants! It can be difficult to find pieces that will meet your work attire requirements while still satisfying your personal style. The inspiration behind this brand really speaks to me as a working woman who still wants to look fashionable while being a #girlboss. Can you relate? I know I am not alone in this struggle!
