Hey guys! I apologize for the delay in getting a new post up. One of my goals for the new year was to blog more frequently and consistently so CLEARLY I’M OFF TO A GREAT START.
We’ll pretend that little ten-day lull never happened and dive into this post shall we?
It’s always the simplest outfits I enjoy the most and it doesn’t get much simpler than jeans and a white tee. I’ve been loving oversized vests (oversized anything really) and layering them over a tee or sweater. I’ve had this Harlowe and Graham oversized vest for a while and have worn it to work with dress pants and a thin sweater as well as on the weekends pictured here. Versatile pieces like this are always great to have in your wardrobe especially when they are a great price! This oversized vest retails at $98 but it is currently 60% off at Nordstrom Rack. When the mark down is that good, it’s hard to pass up!
As it warms up (and I mean warm up for real – not like our 80 degrees one day 40 the next that we’ve been having) I think it would be really cute to swap the jeans for cutoffs and add a cute pair of booties or sandals. Speaking of cutoffs, you may notice the bottom of these jeans are a little frayed. They were a little long when I got them (as most jeans are on me) so instead of rolling them, I just cut the bottom few inches off then pulled apart the threads at the bottom to create a frayed denim look. You can easily purchase a pair of frayed hem jeans but if you want to experiment with a current pair it’s super easy and you can make them as fringed as you want! This NY & Company pair is sold out but I found a similar pair HERE.
