Pinstripe Wrap Dress

I’ve always had a thing for blue and white pinstripe pieces. It’s one of those patterns that I inevitably try on any time I see it in a store. I came across this incredible pinstripe wrap dress while perusing the new arrivals at one of my favorite stores, Nordstrom Rack. I always find the best deals at this store (and T.J. Maxx of course) but this dress was a big one. Not only was it 54% off, it screamed designer and extremely on trend with its statement sleeves. Needless to say I added it to my shopping cart within seconds.

The pinstripe wrap dress I’m wearing also comes in black but both colors have been running out of sizes pretty quickly. This style of dress is such a classic look so I found several similar dresses for you to take a look at below if you’re interested. To me this one is so special because of the wrap skirt detail. You literally take either side of the skirt and wrap it around either side of your waist then tie it in a bow. I love that the slightly belled sleeves mirror the skirt with the ties around them! So chic AND IT HAS POCKETS. Sold.

I kept the styling simple per usual with dainty gold jewelry (I’m obsessed with this star choker – only $7.90!), this new white mini bag (only $22.90) and an old pair of nude patent leather heels.

I never do this but I have to give a bit of a shout out to my husband. While I always tease him that I’m the one who makes sure the settings are right on the camera and sets up the shots and does the editing, he really did a good job capturing the light when he took these photos. We’ve both come a long way in the last three years when it comes to photos on this blog (trust me, you don’t even want to see ones from my first year…) and I know we have a long way to go, but I’m so appreciative of his willingness (okay maybe he’s not always willing) to shoot with me and encourage my passion. So unless you see a photo credit at the end of a post, just know my husband took it (and I edited it ;)… ).

Thanks for reading!
