Hey guys! Happy Friday! It has been a very busy week for me (when is it not, right?) and it’s looking like next week won’t be slowing down either. I’m ready to power through because next weekend the husband and I are taking a little road trip to Austin! You know we go there often and I never get tired of it. If you have any favorite spots we should visit, leave me a comment and let me know! But let’s dive into this navy obsessed look, shall we?
It should come as no shock to you that I love me some navy. Not only am I navy obsessed, but I love monochromatic outfits. It is such an easy way to instantly look chic and put together. You may remember I did a post a couple of years ago on 4 Tips for Wearing Monochromatic Outfits – if you haven’t read it, be sure to check it out HERE for tips on achieving a head to toe look in one color! This Kim Kardashian Look for Less is an easy way to introduce wearing one color into your style, too!
For this navy outfit I paired an old button down skirt from Zara with a sleeveless sweater from Marks and Spencer then draped my favorite navy peacoat (similar here) over my shoulders (sorry for the side of dog hair #dogmomprobs). I took the navy obsession a step further and added this navy and rose gold smart watch Fossil sent me. I love it because it is helping me to pay attention to my activity more (never realized how few “steps” I got every day…) yet it still looks appropriate for me to wear to work and is fashionable to wear with any outfit.
I get so many compliments on this faux fur bag from Henri Bendel but if you are looking for a little bit less expensive faux fur bag, I found this one that is only $29! I’ve been trying to drink more water and what better way to do it than with an adorable rose gold tumbler you can carry around? I found this for only $12.99 at Nordstrom Rack but it is unfortunately sold out… I’ll be sure to let you know if it comes back in stock or if I find something similar!
I hope you liked this navy obsessed look and have a great weekend!
