I am still trying to get back into the swing of things after my SURPRISE birthday in Vegas this past weekend. Little to my knowledge my husband and brother teamed up to create a non-stop, fun-filled trip to Vegas that will go down as one of my best birthdays yet! I am an incredibly lucky wife and sister. Here are a few highlights from the trip…
Day 1: Private Cabana at The Cosmopolitan pool. Tickets to “Vegas! The Show” (highly recommend!).
Day 2: My birthday! Breakfast at the hotel. Pool day at MGM Grand. Dinner inside The Venetian at Thomas Keller’s “Bouchon” (delicious!). And most importantly, BRITNEY SPEARS CONCERT courtesy of my brother!
Day 3: Sleep. Recover by eating at MGM’s Champagne Brunch Buffet. Sleep. Drinks with a view at the Mandarin Oriental. Tiesto at Hakkasan!
Day 4: Go home! But first, finish the trip with a bang by winning $100 on the slots at the airport!

I’m heading to Vegas next month and very tempted to go see Tiesto at Hakassan but would be going on my own (I’m travelling with my mum and it certainly won’t be her cup of tea!). Do you have any opinion on whether that’s a good or bad idea?!

Hi Victoria! It is definitely an entertaining show but I personally wouldn’t have gone by myself. There is usually a pretty long line to get in and the club holds about 5,000 people. I say if you’re a big fan, go for it, but if not, there are tons of other amazing shows I’m sure you and your mom could enjoy together! 😉 Have a great time!!
