Happy Cinco de Mayo! Contrary to popular belief, today is not Mexico’s Independence Day. But it is a day where many of us overindulge in margaritas and tacos! In order to get in the spirit of Cinco de Mayo I am sharing this silky red romper I scored on clearance at Nordstrom Rack a while back. It kind of reminds me of the flamenco dancer emoji, don’t you think? I was unable to find the exact one online but I rounded up a few other pretty red rompers starting at only $12.50!
What better way to kick off me actually going to Mexico than with a little Cinco de Mayo celebration? I would normally be headed to happy hour right after work but since my husband and I are leaving for Mexico TOMORROW and still need to finish packing… and finish up some work… and run a few errands… and clean the house… we’ll be celebrating at home with some shredded beef tacos I made in the crockpot and a few cervezas. My parents are coming by to pick up Leo tonight and my heart is already breaking a little. I know it is pathetic but I just hate leaving him! Dog moms, please tell me I’m not alone in feeling this way…
While I will be in Mexico through next week I still however will be updating the blog so keep an eye out for a few new posts! If you want to keep up with me throughout my trip to Playa Del Carmen, Tulum, and the Riviera Maya, be sure you’re following me on Instagram (@natalie_keinan) and Snapchat (@thefashionhour) as that is where I will post the most!
I have been wearing this gorgeous layered necklace from HER Boutique constantly. I love how dainty it is and it goes with everything from this silky red romper to a tank top and jeans! I always love Spanish style influences so I thought these black lace-up heels and this black pompom clutch were the perfect accessories for this flamenco-inspired look! Shop a few other gorgeous red rompers below and check out some of my vacation essentials on the right!
I found so many great rompers on sale at Nordstrom Rack right now just in case red isn’t your thing. 🙂
I hope you have a great Cinco de Mayo! Thank you for reading!
