It was right around this time last year that my husband and I were eating gyros and sipping Ouzo in Greece amid our annual trip to Israel to visit family and friends. I’m not sure if it is realizing that a year has flown by or the fact that summer has officially begun in Texas, but I am itching to travel somewhere new! The tickets are not purchased yet but it is looking like my husband and I will be making a stop in SPAIN for a few days before we head to Israel this summer! I could not be more excited to explore this country and am already making notes of places to visit and attempting to brush up on my Spanish (I’m pretty rusty)! If any of you have been to Spain before and have any recommendations, please leave me a comment!dallas-style-blogger-the-fashion-hour-6695 dallas-style-blogger-the-fashion-hour-6562While this trip is not until August, I, of course, am already planning what to pack. The swimsuits, the sunglasses, hats, sandals… there is a lot to think about when getting ready for a beach vacation. Cute and comfortable beach attire is essential, but my focus today is sharing a look you can wear to make a statement on your night out on the town. Everyone always wants to feel good in what they’re wearing but I believe this is especially true when you’re on vacation. Not only do you want to look beautiful while enjoying a new place, you want to feel comfortable in your skin. This Metaphor jumpsuit from Sears is a definite statement-maker and a perfect piece for a night out on the town. You may have caught my recent post covering the three things I focus on while packing for a summer getaway. This Metaphor jumpsuit from Sears meets all of my criteria: the material is wrinkle-free, it is incredibly comfortable and easy to move in (it even has pockets!), and you have multiple ways you can style it (oh and did I mention it’s 50% off right now?! Such a good deal!).dallas-style-blogger-the-fashion-hour-6608 dallas-style-blogger-the-fashion-hour-6598dallas-style-blogger-the-fashion-hour-6642While you can easily go sans jacket, I paired the jumpsuit with a crisp white blazer to make the deep cabernet color of the jumpsuit pop and add some dimension to the look. I always make sure I have some sort of blazer or jacket that pairs well with a jumpsuit or dress because you never know when a cold front will move in or you get stuck in a restaurant with the air blowing on you! I’m wearing a pair of lace-up strappy sandals but the straight-leg cut of the jumpsuit would work with any shoe. There is a slip-proof strip inside the neckline so you feel secure and the self-tie sash sits right at the waist giving an hour glass shape. From the cut to the material to the color, this piece is perfect for a night out in Spain!dallas-style-blogger-the-fashion-hour-6576 dallas-style-blogger-the-fashion-hour-6685 dallas-style-blogger-the-fashion-hour-6690
