Best of 2019: Top Products + Personal Favs

Happy New Year! I hope 2020 is off to a great start for you! We stayed in for New Year’s Eve and had my brother over for drinks and to play games. We ended up staying up way too late so New Year’s Day was spent being lazy at my parents house.

Ita and I spent last night writing down some personal goals together of what we want to accomplish this year and work on. It’s something we do every year and it’s always nice to look back on what we wrote down the year before. As much as I was in holiday mode the last two weeks, I spent some time reflecting on 2019. I thought it would be nice to document some highlights from the year as well as share some of your favorite products and blog posts from this last year!

Scroll down to see some of my favorite moments along with the top purchased and clicked items from 2019!

PERSONAL HIGHLIGHT

A lot happened in 2019 but one of the biggest things that stands out to me is quitting my corporate job after almost 9 years. This had been a goal of mine and something I had been thinking about for a very long time (literal years) so the fact that I actually got the courage to do it was a big accomplishment for me and I haven’t looked back since!

You can click here to read about when and why I quit my job.

BEST OF 2019: TRAVEL HIGHLIGHTS

I had the opportunity to go on several amazing trips this past year and revisiting these moments is definitely giving me the itch to travel somewhere soon! What travel destination is at the top of your list?? There are so many places I’d love to experience but a family trip to Mexico is sounding really nice. I will never get tired of vacationing in Mexico!

Here’s a look back at my 2019 trips…

JANUARY

I took a trip to Austin with Milk & Honey to learn more about their company and new spa opening in Fort Worth. Highly recommend this place for a spa day! Also South Congress Hotel is one of my favorite places to stay and the Kendra Scott flagship store is right next to it!

February

A trip to LA with almost all of the chic girls to meet with Rachel Zoe and shoot a fun video! As some of y’all may remember we’ve shared several Box of Styles over the last couple of years and absolutely love working with the Zoe team. Rachel and Roger were as nice and laid back as can be and feel so grateful they took the time to hang out with us that day.

March

Me and a few friends took a trip to Punta Mita to stay in the most insane villa called Casa Koko. It was a literal dream!

August

At the end of August we flew to Orlando where we took Mila to Disney World for the first time (the best trip!) and spent a couple days at the Four Seasons Orlando. This is one family trip I will never forget. Seeing the joy in Mila’s eyes at Disney World was truly the best!

November

We went to PARIS and Israel! This was my first time visiting Paris and I loved it so much. I could have easily spent several more days there and would love to go back to France to explore other areas.

After Paris we flew to Israel where we spent two weeks visiting Ita’s family and friends. This was my 7th time (I think?) visiting Israel and I can’t recommend it enough. Such a beautiful country with so much to do and see!

December

After 3 weeks away I was so happy to be HOME for the holidays. All I wanted to do was snuggle with Mila and watch Christmas movies and do all the holiday things as a family at home and that’s exactly what we did!

This year was a special one and I can’t wait to see what’s in store 2020! Wishing you all the best this year and I hope you take the time to reflect on 2019. We all have so much to be grateful for and I think taking time to look back and give thanks is really healthy. It can help refocus yourself on what’s most important in life and guide what you want to accomplish and work towards this year.

I’m so thankful for each and every one of you and truly hope this year is your best yet!

Thank you for being here and thanks for reading!
